For a limited time Child Safe is offering access to an abbreviated version of the online training program, Child Sexual Abuse: Dispelling Myths, Reducing Risk, for FREE!  This course is a good starting point for parents, grandparents, foster and adoptive parents, community volunteers and even survivors who are interested in learning more about preventing and reducing the negative impact of child sexual abuse.  Participants will learn:

  • Information regarding effects of abuse on children, families, and communities
  • Characteristics of offenders as well as children who are more likely to be targeted by them
  • Strategies for reducing risk
  • Tips for responding to concerns or allegations in ways that promote trust and healing
